The Wema Bank Plc has said that it will observe International Women’s Day in 2023.
In a statement, the bank stated that its goal is to respect women and give them the chance to succeed in both their personal and professional life.
The event’s main focus will be “Embrace Equality,” this year’s global theme. Equity and attaining economic progress for women in their jobs and enterprises will be the main topics of debate. The event will include Audrey Joe-Ezigbo as the keynote speaker, along with Tosin Olaseinde, Fela Durotoye, and Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal on the panel.
According to Mabel Adeteye, Head of Brand & Marketing Communications at Wema Bank, “The event aims to commemorate and appreciate Wema Bank customers and Nigerian Women in General while providing them with the knowledge they need to excel in their careers and enterprises.”
The bank’s women’s proposition, Sara by Wema, has been created to grow alongside women and has emerged as the most effective answer thanks to its specialized products, which range from health plans to advisory services and business finance.
