Dangote Group Pledges Firm Resolve to Tackle Youth Unemployment and Foster National Development

Hajia Fatima Aliko-Dangote, the Executive Director of Commercial Operations at the Dangote Group, has emphasized the company’s commitment to addressing the prevalent issue of youth unemployment in the country. Speaking at the recently concluded Lagos International Trade Fair during the “Dangote Day,” Aliko-Dangote reiterated that the President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has consistently aimed to support all levels of government in the country in the fight against poverty.

Aliko-Dangote highlighted the company’s role as the leading private sector employer in Nigeria, aside from the Federal Government, and underscored the group’s primary focus on generating more employment opportunities for the burgeoning population of Nigerian youths. She emphasized that Aliko Dangote’s aspiration is to ensure gainful employment for Nigerian youths, recognizing that their active participation in the workforce is crucial for the overall growth and development of the nation. Aliko-Dangote emphasized that when youths are meaningfully engaged, it not only benefits their personal development but also contributes significantly to mitigating the security challenges facing the country.
