According to a statement from the company, Opadokun’s acceptance of this esteemed recognition further cements his status as a prominent figure within the African business community.

Sanlam General Insurance Nigeria Limited’s Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager, Ajibola Liyide, emphasized the rigorous and comprehensive nature of the CEO Today Africa Awards selection process. A panel of industry experts rigorously evaluates nominees based on various criteria, including leadership prowess, financial performance, innovative strategies, forward-thinking vision, and industry influence.
Liyide explained that winners are selected based on their exceptional achievements and their capacity to inspire and lead their teams to success.
Liyide also highlighted Opadokun’s leadership role in steering Sanlam General Insurance to become the first insurance company in Nigeria to utilize a dynamic USSD Code, dubbed the “Code of Confidence,” which facilitates the resolution of motor insurance claims in under 40 minutes. By dialing *1056# on their phones, customers can efficiently resolve their motor insurance claims within a matter of minutes.
