Suspended GOTV Boxing Nights to Air September 24

Organizers have announced that the premier boxing show, GOtv Boxing Night, will make a return on September 24.

Flykite Productions recently announced that the 29th edition of its licensed boxing show, approved by the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control (NBB of C), will take place at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Arena within the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos. This event is set to showcase six thrilling fights, one of which is a national female cruiserweight title match featuring Celina “Pretty Assassin” Agwu and Bolatito “Black Tito” Oluwole.

In the welterweight division, a national challenge bout will unfold between the formidable Taiwo “Gentle Boy” Olowu and the experienced veteran Ganiyu “Energy” Kolawole. Meanwhile, the bantamweight category will witness an exciting face-off between Tunde “Turning Star” Olojede and Habeeb “Ige” Oladeji, with Sodiq “Happy Boy” Adeleke squaring off against Ibrahim “Golden Boy” Opeyemi.

In the super flyweight category, fans can look forward to an intense showdown between Sifon “Best” Iwatt and Yusuf Olalekan “Omowest” Mohammed. Additionally, Azeez “Latest” Ayobami and Emmanuel “Ability” Abimbola will engage in a national lightweight challenge bout that promises to deliver high-octane action.

For those who can’t attend in person, the GOtv Boxing Night will be broadcast live on SuperSport Variety 4 (DStv Channel 209) and SuperSport Select 2 (GOtv Channel 64).
