One of Nigeria’s top mattress, pillow, and sleep product brands, Mouka, has strengthened its business ties by arranging an exotic trip for 50 Business Partners to Morocco in May 2023.
During a trade conference held at the Lagos Intercontinental Hotel in Victoria Island, Mouka’s Chief Commercial Officer, Dimeji Osingunwa, introduced the ‘World of Comfort Trip Promotion’ to the company’s Business Partners.
The promotion lasted for four months and resulted in 50 partners being selected as winners. Among them, 40 qualified for a trip to Morocco, while 10 achieved the threshold for a trip to Brazil.
Mr. Osingunwa expressed Mouka’s perspective on the reward scheme, stating, “At Mouka, we consider our trade partners as part of the Mouka family. We have consistently invested significantly in ensuring our relationship remains mutually beneficial. In the past, we have rewarded our partners with scholarships for their children, health packages, logistics trucks, tricycles, high-end electronics, and various other benefits. This time, we felt our partners needed a break from the hustle and bustle of Nigeria. They needed an opportunity to unwind and recharge themselves in preparation for the work ahead. As you know, proper rest is essential for one’s well-being.”
When questioned about the chosen destinations, Mouka’s CCO explained the rationale behind them. He mentioned that Morocco was selected for two reasons. Firstly, Marrakesh is renowned as one of the most recommended tourist destinations, known for its palaces, 5-star restaurants, luxury spas, charming riads (traditional houses), and enchanting gardens. Secondly, Morocco is the headquarters of Dolidol International Group, Mouka’s parent company.
Miss Memuna Idegwu, Mouka’s Trade Marketing Manager, provided further insights on this matter. She stated, “In Casablanca, we have Dolidol’s magnificent factory. We thought it would be a great opportunity for our partners to witness the facilities and meet key members of the Dolidol group’s management team. Our partners were warmly received, taken on a factory tour, and the visit concluded with a grand traditional Moroccan meal provided by our gracious hosts. The technological advancements of the group left them amazed, evident in the product innovations that have positioned Dolidol as the leading sleep solution provider in Africa.”
Regarding the promotion’s impact on the business, Mouka’s CCO affirmed that the objectives were successfully achieved, as the Trade Partners demonstrated a renewed commitment to the company’s growth trajectory. He also encouraged more business partners to join the winning team at Mouka and experience this remarkable relationship.
Several business partners expressed their appreciation to Mouka for the significant benefits derived from the trips. They highlighted the enjoyable camaraderie, the opportunity to bond, and the honor of having the Mouka team present during their stay in Morocco.
