LG Electronics Partners with Street Foodz Naija Season 4, Presents Winners with Exciting Prizes

The launch of the new season took place during a media gathering at The Ark Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Oluwafemi Ogundoro, Managing Director of Maxima Media Group and Co-founder of Foodbay TV, expressed excitement about what season 4 has in store. He stated, “This season promises a variety of exciting events for both our viewers and contestants. We’re planning street food festivals in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, catering to the Gen Z audience who love indulging in street food.”

Highlighting the unique theme for this season, aimed at fostering a deeper connection within Nigeria, Ogundoro emphasized the potential of authentic Nigerian street food to attract foreign investments and promote food tourism, positioning it as the next big thing in Nigeria. He stressed that street food transcends boundaries and holds the power to redefine the nation’s identity and storytelling, much like the global impact of Afrobeat and Nollywood. The show is already taking steps to showcase Nigeria’s culinary treasures on international platforms.

Speaking about the grand prize, Ogundoro revealed that the winner would receive a substantial cash prize of N10 million, disbursed in stages to support their business growth. He added, “Our sponsor, LG Electronics, will provide essential appliances to aid their business operations.”

LG Electronics is making its debut as a sponsor for the show’s fourth season. LG’s Marketing Manager, Mr. Paul Mba, expressed LG’s commitment to enhancing the cooking experience through its innovative products. By partnering with Foodbay TV for this year’s contest, LG aims to showcase its range of kitchen appliances and demonstrate how they can elevate culinary artistry.

Mba stated, “Cooking is an art that allows individuals to express their unique tastes and styles. By encouraging aspiring chefs and home cooks to participate in this contest, LG inspires them to push their boundaries, experiment with new flavors, and create culinary masterpieces.” LG’s involvement also aligns with its commitment to promoting nutrition, sustainability, and responsible food practices.

The fourth season of Street Foodz Naija is scheduled to run from September to December, with VJ Adams serving as the official host. This season promises to be a spectacular journey celebrating culinary excellence, entrepreneurship, and cultural diversity.
