Rite Foods Names Kehinde Onijingin as Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Rite Foods Limited has officially named Dr. Kehinde Onijingin as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), with the appointment set to take effect on November 1st, 2023. Dr. Onijingin, a highly experienced professional boasting over 21 years of expertise in human resources and strategy, joins the company to reinforce its leadership position in the food and beverage industry.

With a prior role as the Head of Human Resources and Administration, Dr. Onijingin has played a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the organization. Accumulating more than 15 years of leadership experience in both the manufacturing and financial services sectors, he has consistently made significant contributions to these industries.

Rite Foods Limited, a recognized industry leader, selected Dr. Onijingin as COO due to his remarkable track record of creating value within the company. Since taking on the role of Head of Human Resources and Administration on October 2nd, 2019, he has been instrumental in driving substantial changes, not only in the realm of human resources but also across various aspects of the organization.

As a member of the Management Team, his insights and contributions across different domains have been instrumental in propelling the organization’s growth, earning it numerous accolades.

Prior to joining Rite Foods Limited, Onijingin served as the Head of Human Resources and Administration at Honeywell Flour Mills Plc., where he held various leadership roles and was part of the Management Team responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy.

Dr. Onijingin, an erudite expert in Human Resources and Strategy, has participated in more than 25 management training sessions and conferences in Human Resource and Strategic Management at renowned institutes and business schools. He earned his Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Human Resource Management with a specialization in Knowledge Management in April 2013. Additionally, due to his keen interest in Business Strategy, he attained a second Doctorate Degree in Strategic Management in April 2017, from Babcock University, Ogun State. He is also a Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional, having completed the program at George Washington University in the United States of America, and the Balanced Scorecard Institute, West Africa.

Chairman of Rite Foods Limited, Alhaji (Dr.) Sulaiman Adebola Adegunwa (OFR), expressed his confidence in Onijingin’s suitability for the role, describing him as a perfect fit who has consistently demonstrated exceptional brilliance in his previous position.
