Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming Fidelity International Trade and Creative Connect (FITCC) event scheduled to take place in Houston, Texas, United States of America.
Titled FITCC Houston, the second installment of this international expo is slated for October 24th to 25th, 2023, at the esteemed George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas.
Building on the success of the inaugural event held last November in London, where deals worth over $200 million were sealed, the bank is gearing up for another edition of this globally acclaimed expo. This year’s event continues the tradition of promoting Nigeria’s non-oil exports and facilitating integration into global supply-chain networks.
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Fidelity Bank Plc, Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, expressed the bank’s commitment to supporting export trade and highlighted initiatives such as the Export Management Programme (EMP) in partnership with the Lagos Business School and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) and market access development initiatives like FITCC.
The two-day event will feature exhibitions by leading Nigerian businesses in commodities, agriculture, FINTECH, fashion, arts, and related sectors. Additionally, several panel discussions will be conducted across different halls, bringing together stakeholders and leaders from the business, regulatory, and investment sectors of the US and Nigerian economies to discuss bilateral trade opportunities.
The FITCC Houston will culminate in a gala dinner on October 25, 2023, featuring performances by renowned Nigerian hip-hop star Kcee and other entertainers. Registration for the event is ongoing at www.fitccusa.com.
Fidelity Bank, recognized as one of the top banks in Nigeria, operates as a full-fledged customer commercial bank, serving over 8 million customers through its 251 business offices in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, as well as digital banking channels.
The bank has received accolades such as the Best Payment Solution Provider Nigeria 2023 and Best SME Bank Nigeria 2022 from the Global Banking and Finance Awards, along with awards for “Fastest Growing Bank” and “MSME & Entrepreneurship Financing Bank of the Year” at the 2021 BusinessDay Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.
