Following the resounding success of its inaugural season, FUZE Talent Show 2.0 is poised to once again ignite the talents and aspirations of young Nigerians.
This initiative underscores Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers’ unwavering commitment to nurturing creativity and innovation. The organization is extending an open invitation to talented young individuals aged 18 to 35, encouraging them to showcase their brilliance across a wide spectrum of artistic domains, encompassing music, dance, fashion, technology, and innovation.
In 2022, the inaugural season of the FUZE Talent Show garnered an astounding 7,000 participants and captured the hearts and imaginations of over 2 million viewers nationwide. It culminated in a thrilling grand finale and concert: the FUZE Festival, where the deserving winners were unveiled.
The FUZE Festival, held in December 2022, was an electrifying spectacle featuring captivating performances by some of Nigeria’s finest musical talents. The event drew over 8,000 enthusiastic attendees and offered an array of experiences, spanning music, fashion, food, art, and various fun activities, leaving an indelible mark on the country during the festive season.
As Season Two of the FUZE Talent Show unfolds, aspiring participants are invited to embark on an exhilarating journey by registering for FUZE Talent Show 2.0. The audition process, led digitally, is both straightforward and engaging. Participants need only download the Stanbic IBTC Events App from the Android or iOS store, complete the registration form, and submit a one-minute video showcasing their talent. Notably, the audition process is entirely free.
Mr. Olumide Oyetan, Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, expressed his delight and highlighted how FUZE has evolved into a premier platform for young creatives to captivate audiences, forge connections, and establish partnerships within the dynamic creative sector. He emphasized that FUZE reflects the vibrant Nigerian culture across a diverse range of artistic forms, catalyzing and elevating the nation’s creative landscape.
Ms. Nike Bajomo, Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, extends a warm invitation to young Nigerians to participate in the event. Emphasizing the cost-free nature of the audition process, she underscores the core objective of FUZE Talent Hunt 2.0 – providing a supportive platform for Nigeria’s talented youth to learn, network, and access critical resources that will fuel their aspirations. The announcement of the FUZE Talent Show winner will be a highlight of the eagerly awaited FUZE Festival, scheduled for December 23, 2023. With a grand prize of N32 million up for grabs, participants have the opportunity to gain industry acclaim and invaluable mentorship to accelerate their careers.
