PEAK MILK LAUNCHES NATIONAL BREAKFAST WEEK AND PREMIERES WORLD MILK DAY CAMPAIGN FOR 2023

Peak Milk, the leading dairy brand in Nigeria, is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated launch of its National Breakfast Week and World Milk Day Campaign for 2023. With a strong commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and emphasizing the importance of milk consumption, Peak Milk aims to directly engage with consumers across the country through impactful executions during this campaign.

World Milk Day is a global celebration that provides an exceptional platform to highlight the significance of dairy and raise awareness about its role in healthy diets, responsible food production, and supporting livelihoods and communities. In Nigeria, FrieslandCampina WAMCO, the makers of Peak Milk, is committed to the development of the local dairy sector and has pioneered backward integration since 1984 with the establishment of a dairy farm in Vom, Plateau State. Over the years, the company has integrated learnings and progressed towards a more sustainable dairy value chain model, launched in 2010.

Through the Dairy Development initiative, FrieslandCampina WAMCO supports local farmers in various aspects of milk production, including improving yield per cow, milk quality, hygiene, feeding, breeding, and farm management. The company operates 29 Milk Collection Centers (MCC) in different farmer communities, where locally sourced milk is collected and transported to the state-of-the-art FrieslandCampina WAMCO plant in Lagos for processing into nutritious products for the Nigerian populace.

This year, Peak Milk aims to celebrate National Breakfast Week and World Milk Day with a campaign themed “Complete Your Breakfast with Peak.” The campaign emphasizes the importance of incorporating Peak milk into breakfast routines across Nigerian households. Mrs. Omolara Banjoko, Marketing Manager of Peak Milk, highlights the impact of skipping or having an incomplete breakfast on one’s well-being. She emphasizes that an incomplete breakfast lacks the required nutrients to start the day right, and unfortunately, many Nigerians overlook this aspect. As Nigeria’s leading dairy brand, Peak Milk takes the responsibility to educate consumers about the significance of breakfast consumption, specifically a complete breakfast with all the key nutrients, such as a Peak protein breakfast. By advocating for a complete breakfast, the brand aims to promote a healthier lifestyle and enhance the overall well-being of Nigerians.

During the National Breakfast Week and World Milk Day Campaign, Peak Milk will roll out a series of engaging initiatives, including interactive social media campaigns, informative content, and special offers. The brand invites all Nigerians to join in celebrating National Breakfast Week and World Milk Day, as they aim to inspire healthier mornings, one complete breakfast at a time.
